2 - The Power of Networks for Agroecology - June 26, 2024

The second online discussion round, held on June 26, focused on the importance of networking to ensure the success of projects like the Agroecology Partnership.

Korinna Varga from the Hungarian Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (Hungary) outlined her role in networking, highlighting the crucial need for all members to have access to information, as well as the importance of providing space and resources for the exchange of ideas. To increase participants' motivation and encourage membership, Margriet Goris from Wageningen University and Research (The Netherlands) spoke about the power, dynamics, and success prospects of such communities.

The benefits of alliances, which the Agroecology Partnership hopes to develop into, include increased visibility of various actors, the creation of new shared visions, and the attention of policymakers and decision-makers.
