Who we are
European Partnership on accelerating farming systems transition
The Agroecology Partnership, funded by Horizon Europe, unites the European Commission and 72 partner institutions across 26 member states, associated countries, and third countries. This ambitious initiative aligns national programs to enhance research and innovation on a pan-European scale. Dedicated to fostering a sustainable, resilient, and farmer-friendly agriculture sector, the Partnership tackles climate change, biodiversity loss, and food security. Agroecology, inspired by natural interactions and advanced technology, incorporates farmers' knowledge to address diverse challenges. Through Living Labs (LLs) and Research Infrastructures (RIs), the Partnership expedites the transition to agroecology.
